This Ramadan, I am fundraising to provide clean water to Rohingya refugee communities.

Ramadan is the month of mercy, generosity, and immeasurable reward. Every good deed done in this blessed month is multiplied many times over — your small act today could carry immense reward in the sight of Allah.

The Prophet ﷺ taught that one of the best forms of charity is giving water to drink. Today, hundreds of thousands of Rohingya Muslims live in refugee camps after fleeing persecution. Many families in these camps struggle daily with limited access to clean, safe water.

A single water well can transform life in a refugee camp. Every sip taken, every child protected from illness, and every family relieved from hardship becomes ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah) — reward that continues for years to come.

Although I am doing this with my beloved mum, my dear grandma, and my friend in mind — that is my personal intention — this is also about us as an Ummah. We are one community, and we should do everything we can to ease hardship for others, especially in this blessed month.

This Ramadan, let us truly seize the opportunity to give, to care, and to multiply our rewards. Every donation, no matter how small, is a chance to make a difference that lasts beyond this life.

May Allah accept from us all and make this a source of continuous reward for everyone who contributes. Ameen. 🤍
