Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu,
The KCL ISoc Alumni Network is about more than catching up - it’s the beginning of a legacy: strengthening our brotherhood & sisterhood, supporting one another, and harnessing the skills of our alumni to better serve the Ummah!
This year, our legacy project is a Sadaqah Jariyah initiative in Uganda:
- Supporting a community mosque (a safe, lasting place for prayer, learning, and community)
- Funding 2 water wells to provide reliable access to clean water
- With the remaining funds, supplying Ugandan translated Qurans for the mosque and the wider community
We’re working with a charity partner who can facilitate delivery and share progress, and we’ll keep supporters updated as the project moves forward. Next year, we also hope to organise visits to the mosque, which the charity can help facilitate - so alumni can see the impact first-hand.
If you’re able to support, please donate whatever you can and share this page with friends and family.
May Allah accept this from us all and elevate you to the highest of ranks!
JazakumAllahu khayran,
KCL ISoc Alumni Network
