Please Note:
According to scholarly opinions, Qurbani is either Wajib or Sunnah. It is mukruh (disliked) as a minimum if one is to neglect this act of worship when one has the financial means to donate a Qurbani. Therefore the scholars recommend for those that have the means to give a Qurbani, so 1 small animal or 1 share from a large animal is sufficient as Qurbani for an entire household.
