Isatou is growing up in a family that has experienced the loss of a parent and now faces ongoing financial challenges. Isatou’s mother, Haddy, used to sell bread as her main livelihood. However, as her husband’s health deteriorated she could no longer leave home to run her stall. Since his passing, she has had no one to support her or the family. She now finds it extremely difficult to feed and clothe her children, and the loss of her bread business has left them without a reliable source of income.
