As-salamu alaykum! 
I hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. I am reaching out to share a deeply personal and urgent mission that I am undertaking—one that resonates with the heartache we are witnessing in Gaza. 
On [25th December 2024], I will be embarking on a 24-mile walk from Oxford to High Wycombe, standing in solidarity with the Palestinian families who are enduring unimaginable suffering. This journey symbolizes the harrowing trek that countless families are forced to make from the North Jabalia camp to the Rafah border in desperate search of safety. 
The situation in Gaza is catastrophic:
Over 43,000 lives have been lost, including 17,000 innocent children. 
More than 100,000 individuals have been injured. Approximately 2 million people have been displaced from their homes. 
These staggering numbers are not just statistics; they represent real lives filled with dreams, hopes, and aspirations that have been shattered overnight. In the face of such devastating loss, we cannot remain silent. We cannot stand idly by. 
I invite you to join me in this crucial mission—not just by walking alongside me, but by contributing generously to those who need our support the most. Your donations will go directly to families in Gaza, providing them with essential aid and a glimmer of hope amidst their despair.

Fajr Prayer: Oxford Mosque Walk Begins: 7:30 AM
