The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said, “The one who cares for an orphan and myself will be together in Paradise like this,” and he held his two fingers together to show their closeness (Bukhari). Caring for orphans is not just an act of charity—it is a path to Jannah and a means of following the Sunnah.
I am raising funds for Global Helping Hands’ Orphan Fund to support children who have lost their parents and are in desperate need of shelter, food, education, and care. The Prophet (ﷺ) was himself an orphan, and Islam teaches us to protect and uplift those who are vulnerable. Allah (SWT) reminds us in the Qur’an:
“They ask you, [O Muhammad], what they should spend. Say, ‘Whatever you spend of good is [to be] for parents and relatives and orphans and the needy and the traveler.’” (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:215)
Imagine the loneliness of a child who has no one to call mother or father, no hand to hold in times of fear, no voice to comfort them when they cry. Orphans are among the most vulnerable in our society, left to navigate a world that often overlooks them. But we have the power to change that. By supporting them, we become the family they have lost, the protection they desperately need, and the love they crave.
The Prophet (ﷺ) also reassured us: “Charity does not decrease wealth.” (Muslim). Giving in the way of Allah (SWT) only brings more barakah and blessings into our lives. Your donation is more than just money—it is hope, security, and a future for a child who has none. It is a reminder to them that they are not forgotten. Every orphan deserves warmth, safety, and the chance to build a life free from hunger and hardship.
Let us be the reason a child smiles again. May Allah (SWT) accept our efforts, increase our sustenance, and grant these children ease and happiness. Ameen.
